Matt Hanley has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Since beginning his insurance career in 2010, Matt has built a reputation for combining technical expertise, strategic risk management, and a client-first approach to help businesses navigate complex insurance challenges.

A graduate of UCLA, Matt also earned his master’s degree from California Lutheran University, providing a strong foundation in both business and leadership. Before joining Wilk Business Insurance, Matt worked as a Chief Underwriting Officer. In that role, he directed underwriting strategy, spearheaded product development, and strengthened carrier partnerships. His leadership supported sustained organizational growth and elevated operational performance, experience he now brings to our team.
